Restrictions Advisory Committee-- David Sebring
This committee is a small group of owners whose main purpose is to counsel and advise owners who are undertaking the construction of a new home in The Summit. The following items are typical activities of the committee:
§ Answer questions and provide general information to owners in the preliminary stages of planning, or to individuals contemplating the purchase of a lot.
§ Provide specific information to owners whose construction is imminent.
§ Meet with owners and contractors onsite to review building plans and the site, to discuss any potential issues, to answer questions, and to assist in any other way possible.
§ Monitor the construction site to assure that the restrictions of The Summit are observed.
A secondary purpose of the committee is to advise owners of established homes regarding restriction issues that may arise in home improvements and other development of a property.

Landscape Maintenance-- Sue James
Responsible for landscaping and maintenance of subdivision commons areas (mowing, edging, debris removal and weed control.
New and replacement planting, insect control and irrigation.
Roadside mowing Program.
Safety issues concerning trees.
Manage services of contracted landscape and maintenance company.
Organize/supervise volunteers for special projects not covered by maintenance contracts.

Pool/Cabana/Playground/Picnic Area—Eldon Blust (Chairperson)
Responsibilities Include:
Guidelines for use of the common areas and
reservation forms are found in the cabana storage room and are to be returned
to me with cleaning deposit before reservations can be confirmed. A calendar of
times when pool-cabana area is reserved will be posted on the bulletin board.
Contracts for maintenance of pool and
cleaning of the cabana are made yearly.
Supplies for the cabana need to be
purchased.
The pool is tested daily for chlorine
and PH during the time the pool is open, for your safety. If the pool is not
within specific guidelines the pool must be closed and
the maintenance person notified. The
pool closing sign will be posted on the front gate if this is necessary.
All current rules regarding use of
the common areas are posted on the bulletin board.
The first Aid kit is updated at the
beginning of the season.
We must be compliant with all DHEC
requirements.
Contract yearly
maintenance on the tennis court, as required.
